23 Δεκ 2015 · I have Windows 10 and an Alienware laptop. When connecting the HDMI cable to my Sanyo TV the image is displayed flawlessly but Audio still plays through my laptop speakers. I have tried to switch the playback device to the HDMI but it is not available for selection.

19 Μαΐ 2022 · If it works on the other machine it may be the program you are using for playback is forcing audio through the laptop speakers. If you go to the audio settings in said app you should be able to change the output.
