23 Νοε 2022 · Anyone else have a similar story with HexClad? ***UPDATE*** 12/2 - Hexclad emailed me a few days ago that they will issue a full refund including shipping. However they only issued a partial refund minus $77. They have ignored every email afterwards. Credit card dispute opened. Beware!! Edit: Spelling
15 Φεβ 2019 · Hexclad is legit, it's a nonstick pan that has a metal safe coating so you won't scratch the nonstick surface. Other than that, it's just a pan. Reply reply
30 Νοε 2021 · I have only used a Hexclad once, when I stayed at an AirBnB for a week. Although it was the best pan available in that kitchen, I was unimpressed. It was sort of a "worst of both worlds" sort of pan. Not as nonstick as a full Teflon pan, and not as good at searing as a full steel pan.
25 Νοε 2022 · Excessive heat and general heat cycles will still degrade a HexClad pan, and both of those are expressly ineligible for their "lifetime warranty" replacement. Marketing video results are possible, but only with inedible results In short: HexClad will work worse than a Teflon pan when you need non-stickiness the most.
Hexclad claims to preserve the heat distribution and oven safety of traditional tri-ply, while having a nonstick coating protected by little stainless steel protrusions. Diagram from their website To me this sounds like a bunch of BS as I'm in the camp that believes nonstick, no matter how good, will degrade with time.
3 Δεκ 2022 · Stickier than a true non-stick but not bad; not as tough as steel but not bad either. Kind of a jack of all trades, master of none, but definitely not a scam. Instead of defending Teflon by linking a 3 year old video, how about getting more up-to-date research. Cooking with Teflon releases PFAS particles into the food.
20 Ιαν 2024 · Food absolutely does stick to those hexagons. These pans will not make it to 5 years. The only thing 6 months shows is if a pan will warp but that’s unlikely on a glass electric top. Definitely cannot get the temp up like a gas or induction. So all this review really shows us is what occasional metal until usage may do to a pan.

21 Απρ 2022 · Regardless of what the marketing says, non-stick will limit the utensils, heat, and appliances you can use them with. Consider that Hexclad's lifetime warranty specifically excludes damages due to heat, utensils, and cleaning. If you already have a set of cookware the best use of your money is to replace it piece by piece.
