16 Δεκ 2023 · Given how minimal the hitch receiver protrudes with the Ecohitch (especially vs OEM or Uhaul brand hitch receivers that hang super low), I wasn't bothered by it, and wanted the "grab and go" option when I want to load up a bike rack or cargo rack, without having to fiddle with the extra disappearing hitch bit.
