There's a lovely park right next to the FamCamp that includes a water park to use on those hot days. Hill AFB has all the normal amenities (Exchange, Commissary, Auto Hobby shop, etc) plus all the commercial shopping in the surrounding community. On the north end of the base is the Hill Aerospace Museum - a must see if you have the time.

Strategically placed between the shores of the Great Salt Lake and Thurston Peak Mountain, there is no shortage of things to see and do. Reservations can be made up to 6 months in advance and must be paid in full at time of reservation.
19 Οκτ 2023 · Stayed for two weeks to visit our son and daughter in law stationed at Hill AFB. Incredibly well maintained, level spots, concrete pads, convenient to everything and the views are incredible!
