30 Μαρ 2008 · The SL8 is a piston driven semi-auto rifle with a rotating bolt firing .223 Remington. The charging handle is right under the carrying handle and has a small lever that can go either left or right. The lever can even be used as a forward assist.

It’s very accurate: easily sub-MOA and probably sub ½ MOA with the right loads. The trigger is excellent — one of the best I’ve ever experienced on a non-AR platform semi-auto rifle. HK still hates you and you still suck.
Back by popular demand, the SL8 is an import-legal version of the G36 designed for precision shooting. It features a cold-hammer forged barrel with a recessed crown. The free-floating bull barrel is manufactured with the famous HK cannon grade steel.
