22 Απρ 2021 · The HK VP9 obviously gets a lot of its roots and design features from the P30, but there are many key differences between the two beyond their firing mechanisms. The HK P30 is hammer-fired while the VP9 is striker-fired, but the differences go much deeper than that.
23 Νοε 2014 · I own two P30's and recently bought a VP9. The P30 is my CCW and I prefer a hammer fired gun for AIWB carry. With lots of practice and dry fire the V1 trigger is great on a P30, plus you can change springs to get a V2 or TLG set up. The trigger on the VP9 is outstanding out of the box, and it has the best trigger of all the plastic guns IMHO.
29 Δεκ 2022 · It's the Version 3/DA/SA. Not nearly as slick as the VP9, but much safer IMHO. The P30 is a safer gun to use in high-stress situations. The trigger pull in SA is close to 5 pounds, meaning no unexpected double-taps, plus it has second-strike capability. I prefer shooting the VP9 at the range, accuracy is unmatched. But, The P30 is my current CCW.

10 Αυγ 2020 · H&K VP-9 vs. the H&K P-30... Both guns are mine. The VP-9 is the new 2020 version. The P-30 is the V3 DA/SA with decocker and no safety. The VP-9 is an excellent range gun with a truly incredible trigger. Breaks in SA at 4.5 pounds and smooth as glass. But, IMHO as for CCW or home defense, I much prefer the P-30.

3 Δεκ 2021 · VP9: Almost identical groups to the P30L, but ever so slightly tighter at the same distances. I did notice that "failure to stop" drills (mozambique, 2 to the chest 1 to the head) weren't quite as good as the P30L, but everything else I did was a little tighter. the VP9 also gets hotter than the P30L.
