In Control Panel \ Mail - remove the Outlook profile for that job (if it is not already been removed) In Control Panel \ Credentials Manager - check every item listed, confirm nothing has that 'work' email address, or anything similar to it.
I've been fruitlessly trying for over an hour to get into my Outlook (technically Hotmail but same difference) account. I made the account almost 20 years ago and I accidentally changed the password sometime in the somewhat recent past so God knows I can't remember it.
I changed my password for Outlook yesterday and now outlook won't load on either my laptop or my desktop. I've uninstalled office, deleted profiles, and outlook still won't load. What do I need to do get it to work again?
If outlook.office365.com is already listed you need to delete it and re-enter it in order to get the pop-up window from Microsoft asking for password. Just changing the Authentication method will not work.
My gf forgot the password for her email. We have access to the Outlook app and Skype from the iPhone. When I try to reset the password, the email with the security code is not delivered to her gmail account. Does anybody know how I can fix this?

6 Φεβ 2018 · I have an exchange email with my employer and am trying to sync it with Outlook 2013. When setting up, a Windows Security window prompts me for my password. I use exactly the same password I use to access my emails through the Outlook Webmail App.
