19 Νοε 2019 · Please help me make a list of the best options to upgrade the older style soft seats (Pre-2015/Vantage). There have been many great threads over the years, but it’s hard to chose with so many clever ideas and aftermarket options.
The last two digits of the serial number (etched into the hull near the stern) indicate the model year. Replacement seats are available for current/recent models but they are $$$$. Older models might require some searching through ebay or other second hand markets
If you have limited options for aftermarket seats because of an older style kayak, try out this simple and inexpensive DIY seat upgrade.
