6 Φεβ 2006 · I have been looking for the new Hodgdon powder, US869...has anyone seen it in the stores yet? Tried any? Its not listed on their website.
1 Νοε 2017 · Google search of reviews range from great works well, temp sensitivity issues, too slow of a powder for the caliber. I figure worst case I try a few loads and see if the rifle likes it. My end goal is accuracy and consistency over speed.
23 Σεπ 2013 · We are in the process of developing a 300 RUM load with 869 with a GS 177g HV. So far looks very promising. This is a 30" barrel and a compressed load of 112g. Much diff than what you are doing. You could try it and see. You can't go wrong. I tried it in my 30-338 Lap imp with the 177 last night and could not get the velocity that I was looking ...
27 Δεκ 2014 · Ball powder is the only type of powder I can shoot in my 270 Allen Mag with 165 class and larger offerings. US-869 is the only powder that produces the velocity in this rig that maintains it's extreme magnum status. Other available ball powders can't match the 869's velocity.
22 Φεβ 2013 · I have shot US 869 in my .338 Lapua, both with 250 grain and 300 grain bullets. With a fresh barrel, I was 1 MOA or better at 100 yards. My 300 grain charge weight was 103.5 grains.

US869 is a dense propellant that allows the shooter to use enough powder to create maximum velocities in cartridges such as the 7mm Remington Ultra Magnum, 300 Remington Ultra Magnum, 30-378 Weatherby Magnum and others.
4 Μαρ 2021 · You need actual data using hodgdon us 869 powder and specific bullet weight. If you have that to start, work the load up from there. At a glance, I'm having a hard time finding anything public with that powder for those rounds.
