10 Ιουν 2024 · The most popular tidepools are at Kalaloch's Beach 4 and Mora's Hole in the Wall. Second Beach, Third Beach, and Ruby Beach are also excellent places to view intertidal life in the park. The most important aspect of tidepooling is choosing the right time.

Rialto Beach is the quintessential beach hike of the Pacific Northwest. Located in Washington State, United States, this beach is filled with sea stacks, tide pools, wildlife, moody vibes, and driftwood. I loved the vibes of the Olympic Coast, and it set the tone for our Olympic Peninsula trip.
2 Οκτ 2024 · The Hole in the Wall Hike begins at the beach and ends with a collection of teeming tidepools. Keep in mind that this hike is only accessible during low tide (more on that below). Along the way, you’ll encounter otherworldly rock formations, post-card-perfect views, and maybe even some wildlife.
If the tide is out, scramble through the rocky arch and explore the adjacent tide pools, teeming with small oceanic critters. If the tide is in, use the overland trail above the arch and take in panoramic views southward over this picturesque scene.

11 Ιουν 2024 · There are plenty of tide pools all around Hole in the Wall, which is located 1.65 miles along Rialto Beach from the parking lot. The tidal pools have purple and orange sea stars, colorful anemones, mollusks, sea grasses, nudibranchs tiny crabs.
7 Ιαν 2024 · Hole in the Wall is a tunnel at the bottom of a massive rock. When the tide is out, you can walk through it and arrive at another stretch of rugged beach where tide pools teem with colorful marine life. Hikers walk toward Split Rock with Hole in the Wall on the right.
