  1. 5 Απρ 2022 · I have tried using the IP address in place of homeassistant.local, behaviour is the same on both ports. In the supervisor logs is an error Home Assistant has crashed! Followed by some rebuilding, and auto fix, then the same error.

  3. 16 Μαρ 2023 · Upon rebooting my Home Assistant instance, I see that the UI on port 8123 doesn’t work. But the Observer URL on port 4357 seems to be fine. It says that all is fine on the Raspberry Pi. I am also able to ping the IP address of the Pi from my Windows computer on the cmd and received replies.

  4. A secure way to remotely access your Home Assistant is to use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) service such as Tailscale or ZeroTier One. A VPN connection needs to be established before you can connect to your Home Assistant from outside your local network. The VPN makes this connection secure.

This has given us the opportunity to invest more time and resources into stability, usability improvements and new features.

It cannot be reached from the network (including http://homeassistant.local:4357), nor can it reach any devices on the network (wifi devices become unavailable). It has happened every day since I updated to 2023.8.4.

  7. Typically, the URL is http://homeassistant.local:8123. If you are running an older Windows version or have a stricter network configuration, try http://homeassistant:8123 instead. The system might still be starting up.
