Installing lowering kit will decrease ini-tial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottom-ing, especially over bumps or turns.

nThe Progressive Suspension Drop-In fork lowering kit is a direct replacement of your stock springs. You will use the supplied preload spacers - the short one in the left fork and the long one in the right (replacing the OE one).
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS. nSlide the fork tube up and down in the fork leg. Check for smooth action and full travel. nReplace the fork oil with Harley-Davidson type "E" fork oil or equivalent 10wt fork oil. Heavier or more aggressive riders may prefer 15wt or 20wt fork oil.
