nThe Progressive Suspension Drop-In fork lowering kit is a direct replacement of your stock springs. You will use the supplied preload spacers - the short one in the left fork and the long one in the right (replacing the OE one).
Installation Instruction. Warning: All work must be performed by a qualified me-chanic or according to steps outlined in an authorized service manual. Installing lowering kit will decrease ini-tial ground clearance. The motorcycle will be lower to the ground and care should be taken to avoid bottom-ing, especially over bumps or turns.
17 Σεπ 2023 · Lowering links aren't possible because the shock mounts directly to the swingarm. Right now I think your only option is to cut the spring as the factory rear shock isn't adjustable, and there are no aftermarket options at the moment.
Spanner wrenches are meant to be used as tool kit to help turning lock rings, spring perches and lower mounts easier, not meant to be use as tightening tool. To secure tighten lock rings, please use the mallet and flat-head screw-driver to tighten lock rings, spring perches and lower mounts.
