Officers mentor Lorain County kids in week-long Operation Open Heart camp
We are so excited that Operation Open Heart is back, hosting a one week camp for kids recieving our services. Such a great opportunity for boys to build a relationship with local law enforcement officers.
Operation Open Heart week kicked off yesterday. The program was founded in 1962 and the tradition continues with these 40 boys and amazing men in blue this week! They get to get hairs cuts, ice cream, camp out, play ball, go on a boat ride, eat a special dinner, along with riding in the police cars with the sirens on!
