It seems they do. I just tested this by creating and uploading a new video to my channel and keeping it unlisted. I then posted it to Reddit as a link, received some views, refreshed my studio page and there they were.
Well I think it really depends on the time frame. Are you talking 50- 80 views in 24 hours? Or like a week? Since mine really only see <20 views in 24 hours but my last video which came out around 2.5 days ago now has 53 views and it's just going to slowly continue to grow.

YouTube is definitely not counting the views from Reddit. Also good luck on getting help from YouTube because all they do is reply with a bot that turns the situation into your problem and tells you that they hold views if they feel that there's something going on with them.

If a viewer watches the same video 10 times within 24 hours, only 4 to 5 of their views will count. When you think about it, it's unlikely that a single viewer will watch a video more than 4 to 5 times in 24 hours.
