It costs $49.99 a month (the average price for internet in the U.S.) and comes with 100 Mbps, which is our recommended internet speed for most users. And Cox’s cable internet speeds stay competitive with fiber internet, thanks to its Go Super Fast plan.
I was paying around 144 for 300up/30 down in my area with a 1tb cap, and cable 1 contour box and 1 mini box. The tech support rep gave me a deal to upgrade to gigablast and unlimited data for an extra $40 a month and I took it. I don't even get gigablast speeds, usually only around 600.
The cheapest Cox internet plans are Go Fast ($49.99 per month) and StraightUp Internet ($50.00 per month). Both plans have 100 Mbps download speeds, but Go Fast is a standard internet plan, while StraightUp Internet is a prepaid plan.
