4 Φεβ 2024 · There are five orcas at SeaWorld Orlando now. They range in age from late 40s to early teens. The longest a captive-born orca has lived in the wild is about 30 years. A wild-caught orca, captured at about the age of four, now lives at SeaWorld California and is approaching its 60th birthday.

How long is the killer whale show at SeaWorld? The Orca Encounter show is approximately 25 to 30 minutes in length and features a video presentation about killer whales as well as live trainers interacting with the orcas.
It is arguably the most corporate SeaWorld park, adapting to compete with neighboring theme parks like Universal and Walt Disney World. As of January 28th, 2019, there are 5 killer whales currently living at SeaWorld Orlando.
Data from Icelandic orcas indicate that an average-size male is about 5.8 to 6.7 m (19-22 ft.) long while females averaged 4.9 to 5.8 m (16–19 ft.) long. At SeaWorld, average size for adult males is 6.6 m (21.7 ft.). Two of the largest adult male killer whales at SeaWorld weigh 4,340 kg (9,570 lb.) and 5,380 kg (11,860 lb.).
