23 Απρ 2024 · Before you begin, it’s important to note that each deck must contain exactly 60 cards—with at least one Basic Pokémon—and cannot contain more than four copies of any card (except Basic Energy). There are a lot of ways to approach deckbuilding.
In the Pokémon Trading Card Game, a deck is made up of exactly sixty cards, including at least one Basic Pokémon. These sixty cards have to include all Pokémon, all Trainer cards, and all Energies you need to execute your strategy.
A standard 52-card French-suited deck comprises 13 ranks in each of the four suits: clubs (♣), diamonds (♦), hearts (♥) and spades (♠). Each suit includes three court cards (face cards), King , Queen and Jack , with reversible (i.e. double headed ) images.

30 Δεκ 2011 · We understand the basic rules. I know decks can only have four of each type of card (except basic energy) and must have exactly 60 cards total. What I would like to know is if there is a recommendation for how many cards of each type to have in a deck.
26 Σεπ 2024 · Use a balanced Pokémon deck ratio that’s around 15–20 Pokémon, 15-19 Energy, and 13–20 Trainers so you have exactly 60 cards. Focus on 1–2 types of Pokémon so it’s easier to draw the cards you need. Pick a strong Pokémon as a main attacker to build the rest of your deck’s strategy around.
