  2. For the current Admissions cycle, candidate kits will open July 1, 2024. Application deadlines are based on when you entered the candidate phase. Your specific deadline to complete your file is posted on your portal. You must complete the required items by the deadline posted.

To apply to the United States Air Force Academy, you must be of good moral character and meet these basic eligibility requirements: Be at least 17 years old but not past your 23rd birthday by July 1 of the year you enter the Academy. Be a United States citizen. Be unmarried with no dependents.
