Also, since reinstalling, the item in the top right corner of the app that shows my initials and organization name is gone and every time I restart the app I have to sign back in (which was never the case before).

My workaround has been to run a script via launchd that deletes the ~/Library/Application Support/Microsoft/Teams/settings.json file, which causes Teams to recreate it - and then the app will launch.
