2 ημέρες πριν · There are two different methods for automatically applying a sensitivity label to content in Microsoft 365: Client-side labeling when users edit documents or compose (also reply or forward) emails: Use a label that's configured for auto-labeling for files and emails (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
We need to make sure that the sensitive information type defined in the auto-applying label, is actually detected. If this does not happen, then don't expect the auto-applying label to auto-apply :). We do this, by running a small test in the Compliance Center.
If a label has been applied automatically, you'll see a notification below the Office ribbon. The notice for when a label has been recommended, but not automatically applied, looks similar. For more info, see Automatically apply or recommend sensitivity labels to your files and emails in Office.
Microsoft 365 can be configured to recommend or automatically apply a sensitivity label to a file or email if it includes sensitive corporate or personal information, such as social security numbers, credit card numbers, or bank account numbers.
Switch your primary Office account to the work account that has the automatic labeling policy you want to use, then restart Microsoft 365 applications. Or, Sign out of all accounts you aren't using except the one you want to use, then restart Microsoft 365 applications.

2 ημέρες πριν · Create the labels. Create and name your sensitivity labels according to your organization's classification taxonomy for different sensitivity levels of content. Use common names or terms that make sense to your users.
