Use the x- and y-axis labels to change what data are plotted on your graph. Customize the graph appearance by changing the default point symbol and/or the trace color. Access data analysis tools from the Graph Tools menu including curve fits, statistics, and integral tools. Scale your graph to zoom to all data or zoom to a selection of data.

Use a similar procedure (Steps a - d) to format the ordinate of your graph, replacing “X axis” with “ Y axis” , “ Horizontal” with “ Vertical” , and ‘ Bottom” and “ Top” with “ Left” and “ Right” .
Select the axis and drag the red point to change axis scale on graphs. Or you can also press the Z or X keys and scroll the mouse wheel to quickly and interactively zoom and pan data in graph layers. Press Ctrl+R to rescale graph axes to show all data.
To make your chart data easier to understand, you can do the following to customize each axis: show or hide the axis labels (data values) show or hide the axis line. change the color, style, and weight of the axis line. show or hide major and minor tick marks and specify where to display them.
Specify Custom Label Text. By default, chart labels use the name of the underlying data item label. You can change the label text to make it more meaningful. For example, you can rename a chart item labeled ISO_3_Letter_Code to Country or Region. Customizing the Axes of a Chart.
