16 Δεκ 2012 · For those who might be similarly puzzled, the key is to replace your current itunes library with your old one by renaming the library files. Then highlight the songs, run the script, and save the text file that results.

18 Αυγ 2013 · You have to press and and hold shift (Win) or option (Mac) as you click or immediately after clicking the icon that launches iTunes, and keep holding until you get a dialog that asks you to choose or create a library.

25 Απρ 2023 · The solution seems to be using Settings > General > iPhone Storage > Music > Edit > All Songs > Delete to remove all songs, and then try syncing again. You could also try being more surgical, only removing the items that are causing you a problem.
To add items on your computer to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod, you sync them using iTunes. You can have iTunes sync items automatically (which is the quickest option), or drag items to your device manually (which gives you more control)—or you can do both.

You can consolidate all the files in your library in the iTunes folder to make it easier to move your library to a new computer. Go to the iTunes app on your PC. Choose File > Library > Organize Library, then select “Consolidate files.”
