22 Ιαν 2011 · The truck has a 4-speed transmission with a 2-speed rear axle. I have never driven a truck with a multi-speed rear axle and have some quick questions for anyone who has. Do you shift the axle on the fly or just shift it in high or low range before taking off and leave it in that range?
22 Νοε 2011 · It basically allowed you to split each gear in the tranny into a high and low version. If you were empty, just leave it in high range and drive it like a 5 speed. If you had a load on, you could split each gear and get 10 speeds out of it. Start in 1L, then shift to 1H, then 2L, then 2H and so on.....
