If speed is top priority and you're willing to leave Firefox to get it, I'd probably use Edge with uBlock Origin. Other than no extensions other than an adblocker, I've noticed big changes with PC upgrades. For example I had a Ryzen 5900X (certainly a great CPU) and have an i9-11900K, and Firefox is unquestionably faster on my (newer) Intel system.
