4 Μαρ 2016 · I have a desktop personal computer and Want to format the hard disk drive but fail. I am using Vista. By right click the mouse to format C drive not alow. I input the Vista and try to re-install the Vista, it finally route to the message request me to buy Window 7.
15 Μαΐ 2019 · During that process you can delete the existing Vista partition and make a new partition to reinstall it on if you wish to. Or if you just want to wipe everything from the Hard Drive, including the operating system!
14 Ιουλ 2023 · For the recovery drive approach, simply move everything to an external drive and then the original drive will wipe after that. Disk management helps you format a drive, which in essence, prepares it for new files and documents while leaving no trace of the old.
Simply deleting files by Shift + Delete or emptying the Recycle Bin does not permanently clear data, as deleted files can easily be recovered by recovery software. Formatting a hard drive does not completely erase data either.
12 Οκτ 2022 · Windows Vista, 7 and 8 have a built-in Disk management tool. Just go to Start Button >> Computer >> right click on the Hard Drive you want to wipe. Choose format from the menu and a new Window will appear with a few formatting options.
