Question. I had a full inv so the boots dropped on the floor during the part where Tenzing asks me to put spikes on the boots. I thought I could get another pair but it appears I am stuck since I cant get another set of boots. Is there another way to get climbing boots so I can finish this quest?
Climbing boots are a low-level piece of armour used in the troll quest series. After finishing Death Plateau, players may buy climbing boots from Tenzing for 12 each. They are especially popular with all varieties of ironmen.
I think you need to get through the dialogue where you get permission for the smithing guy's son to join that army or whatever and bring an iron bar for the boots. You will then tell him you don't have the boots and at that point you should get another pair.
In exchange, he’ll offer an alternative route to the Plateau, and a pair of climbing boots! While you can call it quits here, it’s highly recommended to finish the quest before leaving. This is because if you lose the boots, Tenzing will ask for another 10 trout and bread to replace them.
Run west, north-west along the path, and head south, until you reach the house and talk to Tenzing, pressing 1 and spacebar repeatedly until your inventory is filled with climbing boots. Use your ring of dueling to teleport back to castle wars.
Spiked boots are boots that can be obtained by bringing Dunstan (the Burthorpe blacksmith) an iron bar and a pair of climbing boots. Dunstan will only help after a player completes a required portion of the Death Plateau quest.
i am an obby maul pure and im trying to keep my att lvl at 1, is is there anyway to get climbing boots without getting the 1k attack xp?
