Install the CD changer's mounting hardware. The CD changer will come with a set of brackets, typically designed so you can mount the changer in one of three ways--horizontally (flat), vertically, or hanging (for example, in the trunk underneath the package shelf.)
Each side requires two screws to hold the mounting brackets in place. 2. Find a location within the vehicle where the CD changer can be installed horizontally, upright or on an incline. 3. Place the JVC 12-disc CD changer in the vehicle where you want it installed, like a car trunk.
3 Μαρ 2021 · Generally speaking, the CD changer fits inside a sheet metal frame which in turn, screws into the a recessed area just behind the rear wheel in your trunk. That is just a general description of the physical install.
2 Οκτ 2012 · If your car is prewired for a CD-changer you will need to buy a new trunk liner for the left rear. You'll also need to purchase a new storage bin since the size of the compartment does change. The changer btw goes in the drivers side rear.
