Park the vehicle on a level surface and set the parking brake. Place the front wheels in a straightforward position by centering the steering wheel. If applicable, remove the nuts and U-bolts holding the stabilizer bracket to the tie rod end (illustration 1).

Loosen the 2 steering bolts in the back of the steering unit and replace the units factory bolts with the new bolts provided in the kit. Here is a pic of the old bolts:
Place the front wheels in a straightforward position. Loosen the nuts on the drag link adjusting sleeve clamps. Remove the bolt on the adjusting sleeve bracket. See illustration 1. Without moving the adjusting sleeve, turn the clamps until the bolts are vertical and on the front.
