Python in Excel is a new feature that allows you to natively combine Python and Excel analytics within the same workbook. With Python in Excel, you can type Python code directly into a cell, the Python calculations run in the Microsoft Cloud, and your results are returned to the worksheet, including plots and visualizations.
16 Σεπ 2024 · Python in Excel is now generally available for Windows users of Microsoft 365 Business and Enterprise. With qualifying Microsoft 365 subscriptions, you can calculate Python formulas with standard compute and automatic recalculation mode.
To begin using Python in Excel, select a cell and on the Formulas tab, select Insert Python. This tells Excel that you want to write a Python formula in the selected cell. Or use the function =PY in a cell to enable Python.
Python in Excel comes with a standard set of Python libraries provided by Anaconda through a secure distribution. Use these Python libraries to simplify your data analysis, find patterns and hidden insights, and visualize your data with plots.
