The Bear Trap is an item used to temporarily immobilize humans and small creatures. When a creature gets trapped, durability slowly depletes at a rate of one unit per eight seconds.
Traps can be hidden in the tops of pillars. A player can set off their own bear trap. Bear Traps last considerably longer than Large Bear Trap, and even longer if the trapped creature is tamed. On mobile bear traps can be placed close to each other, and they are not able to be sprung by the owner.

It is possible to trap humans in a Wooden Cage. As of Patch 231.7, players can not damage themselves within the cage by punching its walls, making it an effective way to keep a player contained without the risk of them committing suicide (via punching) to escape.
25 Ιουν 2015 · Different kind of traps in which can fall different kind of dinos... little, medium, big one. It would depends on your level depending in if you want to catch a dilophosaurus or a T-Rex. There could also be a fail risk, depending on the level maybe?
He has an amazing Argy trap that uses 6 pieces. I was able to simplify it even more by making use of some new pieces that were introduced in ASA. My trap uses 4 pieces and uses roughly 40% less resources than the original trap design. Let me know what you think.
