Applies To. When you want to increase the amount of space in the Outlook window for viewing messages, calendars, or tasks, you can turn off the folder pane. 5 Οκτ 2020 · The Folder Pane in Outlook is the main navigation method between your mailboxes, folders and the separate modules such as Mail, Calendar and Contacts. This pane does contain a couple of options and other “secrets” to fit it to your style and work with it more efficiently.
Note: You can change how Outlook arranges folders by clicking Folder Pane > Options. On the ribbon, on the View tab, select Folder pane > Show . If the Folder pane option isn't visible, select Layout > Folder Pane > Show .
