Otherwise you will not have access to all of the features that the updated firmware provides. Visit https://line6.com/software/ and log into your Line 6 account.

17 Μαΐ 2024 · Close all apps and use your current version of Helix/HX Edit to back up your HX presets to a computer. If you need to install HX Edit, go to the Line 6 Downloads page and download the latest version closest to your Helix’s current firmware version (shown on-screen while powering on).
How do I update? Any chance you've already updated HX Edit to 3.01 (released on Feb 2, 2021)? If so, just connect Helix/HX to your computer via USB and launch HX Edit. The software will walk you through the entire procedure, including updating HX Edit 3.01 to 3.10 and backing everything up to your computer. What if I didn't update HX Edit to 3.01?
16 Φεβ 2016 · The easiest way to perform the update process is by installing the latest version of Line 6 Updater. Once you've connected Helix to your computer via its USB port (hubs are not supported), Line 6 Updater will recognize the unit and take you through the update process.
8 Ιουλ 2010 · Follow the prompts to create a full-state backup of your Helix (Global Settings, IRs, setlists, and presets). Close HX Edit, open Line 6 Updater, and follow the prompts to update your Helix's firmware. Helix will begin rebuilding presets. Wait for this process to complete.
