17 Ιουν 2021 · Just picked up a Howa 1500, 20", heavy barrel, less than 100rds for $460... in .308. Always wanted a .308 and Howa seems to have a good rep for quality on a budget so I am excited to get out to Charlie Elliot and put her through the paces at 100yds.

28 Νοε 2017 · Yes, a few. The group above was shot with a custom Howa 1500 chambered in 6.5 Creedmoor and shot at 100 yards with factory Sig Sauer 140 Sierra MatchKing ammunition. I’m happy with it! This is one of my favorite, a 21″ 308 Winchester.
15 Δεκ 2020 · With a good quality rifle scope, adequately mounted, and a free-floated heavy barrel, a Howa 1500 in .308 can shoot groups as tight as half an MOA. That’s half an inch at 100 yards. Anything under 1 MOA is considered accurate enough to compete in long-range precision rifle shooting.
