30 Απρ 2020 · I replaced the laptop with genuine hp battery. First boot up had a cmos checksum error and then counted down, powered off. I tried turning it on and everything is running, I can hear it but the lcd is off. I tried: Using the old battery. Reseating the ram. Trying 1 ram at a time. Using only the power cord, no battery
20 Δεκ 2023 · Biggest improvement can be achieved by limiting screen brightness. The screen takes the most power and after that is the video card, particularly if you have a dedicated one. Good luck
5 Δεκ 2022 · I had a black screen while working on the laptop and because I know that the battery is faulty, I tried to replace the battery with a new one. The laptop worked properly for a couple of days to go back again to the black screen.
