For starters I have a 12" Klipsch sw 112 that works fine, but leaves me asking for more!.. I was pretty much set on getting an SVS PB12 plus or PC12 plus.

21 Μαρ 2004 · At 20 Hz, it would therefore require two co-located STF-3's to match the clean output capability of one PB1-ISD. In the 22-25 Hz region, the SVS holds a 2-3 dB advantage. In the 25-50 Hz bandwidth, the SVS holds a small advantage, and the Hsu took the 60 Hz test frequency by 4 dB.
23 Ιαν 2017 · The PB12 Plus is a bit higher end with a heavier cabinet build and nice piano gloss finish, but the Hsu subs will be more powerful. They should both be reliable subs, and the with standard SVS warranty and the Hsu extended warranty, you don't have to worry.
I haven't compared them but the Hsu is (or can) a ported sub (with slightly more power) that will have more output than the other two. They are all decent subs, but I would go with the Hsu since you can try it both ways.
2 Σεπ 2019 · The Hsu VTF-2 MK5 is a no brainer over the SVS imho. At MSRP it's 20% more expensive and destroys the PB1000 on output. I cannot say how effective either will be in your space, as you've not given us cubic footage.
12 Μαρ 2021 · SVS PB 1000 Pro vs Hsu VTF2 MK5. I tried searching but haven't seen anyone bring up this comparison yet. The Hsu really does seem to take the cake in most price/performance comparisons amongst folks in this sub. I'm curious how it compares to the new kid on the block.
