Key Vocabulary: Skyscraper – a very tall building. Human features - things that are made or built by humans. Physical features - anything that is on the Earth naturally. Bodies of water – an area of land that is covered by water. Landforms – natural surfaces of the earth.
With human geography as a framework, the focus shifts to include a geographic sense of place. Developing this sense of place lets children know that they belong in the physical world around them and in the social and cultural world they share with others.
