Hexagram 56 is named 旅 (lǚ), "Sojourning". Other variations include "the wanderer" and "traveling". Its inner (lower) trigram is ☶ (艮 gèn) bound = (山) mountain, and its outer (upper) trigram is ☲ (離 lí) radiance = (火) fire.

I Ching Hexagram 56 - Lu / The Wanderer. Above Li the Clinging, Fire ; Below Ken Keeping Still, Mountain; Introduction. The mountain, Ken, stands still; above it fire, Li, flames up and does not tarry. Therefore the two trigrams do not stay together. Strange lands and separation are the wanderer's lot.
