This document is a compilation of descriptions (grade descriptors) of each grade for each group of subjects in the IB Diploma Programme. Grade descriptors consist of characteristics of performance at each grade. The descriptors apply to groups of subjects but substantial similarity exists across sets of group grade descriptors.

This document provides a conversion scale between International Baccalaureate (IB) letter grades and marks and equivalent percentages used by DHS. It shows that an IB grade of 7 corresponds to a DHS percentage between 93-100%, a 6 is equivalent to 90-92%, and grades decrease progressively down to an E which is 0-59%.
Grades from secondary school certificate and from higher education diploma required in the admission procedure, are converted to „new matura” points according to the table below: Grades (1 – 6 scale) Points. Grades (2 – 5 scale) Points. passing (2) 30.
Students completing their IB course work by writing an IB final exam in the May 2014 exam session earn a percentage grade derived using the May 2014 IBSO Table of Equivalents.
