To work with worksheet functions in IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel, the TM1 add-in must be enabled. The add-in is enabled by default when you install IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel. If the add-in is disabled, however, you can enable it.
IBM® Planning Analytics Worksheet functions return a numeric or string value. You can use TM1® worksheet functions anywhere in an IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel or TM1 Perspectives worksheet. To access these functions in Microsoft Excel, choose Formulas > Insert Function.

Client Access Express, iSeries Access for Windows, and Client Access provide a Microsoft Excel add-in for data transfer that allows you to run download and upload transfer requests from 32-bit versions of Microsoft Excel (uploads starting with Client Access Express V5R1).
