This course prepares participants to demonstrate motorized boat competency in dynamic water rescue. It will familiarize participants with the dynamic water environment, give them hands-on experience, and prepare them to safely execute simple to complex rescue techniques.
This course includes training on ice rescue basics and equipment, boat ops on ice, throw bags, medical considerations, victim rescues, team rescues, and more!
Classroom and practical hands-on training in boat selection, recommended equipment, boat-handling, moving-water tactics, and boat-rescue techniques. Course meets NFPA 1670 technician level guidelines. This 16-hour course is a must-have for any rescue unit involved in on-the-water operations.
