Boone and Crockett Club's State and Provincial Big Game Records. It’s deer, deer, and more deer for Illinois in the Boone and Crockett records. To be fair, the state does offer hunting for turkey, waterfowl, small game, upland birds, and furbearers, but we do not keep records for longest spurs on a turkey or fluffiest squirrel tail.

Using a “Rackulator” again, the nearly perfect 10-point buck measured 165 inches, with six-inch circumference bases and 24-inch main beams. This second Williamson County buck was taken only about three miles from his first 14-point buck in October.
