For camping at other State Parks, consult the park listing page. The Illinois Department of Natural Resources (IDNR) does not charge an Entrance Fee to any state owned or operated land with the exception of Wildlife Prairie Park. Sites with Beaches charge a $1 a day per person for beach use only.
We offer free camping and free parking at day-use fee parks to U.S. veterans with any level of service-connected disability and Active duty U.S. military on official leave. The Special Access Pass is for veterans with a service-connected disability. Eligible U.S. military members on leave are reimbursed for their campsite and day-use costs.
Reservations for regular campsites and group campsites require a $5 non-refundable reservation fee and payment of the full camping and utility fees at the time the reservation is made. For more information on our fees, please review our camping fee information.
