9 Δεκ 2020 · It took about 4 weeks for me to receive my receipt (I-797 Notice of Action) back in July 2020. If you don’t hear anything back by 6 weeks, I would call up USCIS to ask for an update. I have yet to receive my biometrics appointment (in California) after 6 months of sending in my I-751.
22 Φεβ 2015 · Next month my wife and I are due to file the I-751 to remove the conditions on my green card. I am so mad at myself because yesterday I got my first ever traffic ticket for riding my bicycle through a stop sign.
9 Φεβ 2022 · We received an answer one month later “the case is in line with a schedule. December 21, 2021, I received an email for an N-400 interview, scheduled for February 8, 2022. December 29, 2021, Received also a post mail (NOA 797) for the N-400 interview with the exact date and time.
Both tickets were infractions -not misdemeanors-, both timely paid with fines between $200 and $400. The subject has no other issue with the law and has advanced education (graduate degree in engineering from top school in the US).
23 Σεπ 2019 · I'm in the process of filling the I-751 (Remove Conditions on Residence) and received a traffic ticket for speeding 66MPH in a 50MPH zone. I believe the fine is about $250-350.
21 Ιουλ 2024 · Given that the amount is > $500, I have to disclose the fine on my I-751. I made a mistake of paying with cash the entire amount of $660 instead of card. Now I have an invoice from the court stating that I paid the fine in full with cash (not on letter head).
I filed for form I-751 - Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence (renewal of my Green Card) 3 months before expiration on 12/19/2022. I filed for form N-400 Application for Naturalization on 12/03/2023 (based on the 3-year rule). On February 1, 2024, I was scheduled for the N-400 interview.
