iNavX pricing. iNavX was the most expensive app on my test by a considerable margin. On Android, the app itself was free to download, then I would need to purchase the chart package that I wanted. In my case, the UK charts for my passage would cost me £53.99 ($75) for a 1-year subscription on “Android Smartphones”.
I have iNavX and absolutely love it. I did have some concerns which were recently confirmed by emails with iNavX, X-Traverse (aka Fugawi) and Navionics. 1. Navionics charts are purchased seperately through X-Traverse. They cost approx. $50 each and are very good quality.
With iNavX, it is free to download from the Play Store but will cost £4.49 ($6) to download from the iOS App Store. Then, you can choose which charts to purchase. To make the comparison fair, I decided to purchase the same charts for both apps, Navionics+.
