upgrade business operation and services, and improve the conditions for receiving inbound tourists. From 1978 to 1990, China’s inbound tourist arrivals rose from 1.8 million to 27.46 million, and its international tourism revenue increased from US$263 million to US$2.845 billion.
The China Inbound Tourism Market Sentiment Report is focused on established tour operators, travel agencies and OTAs (online travel agencies) that are actively involved in this industry segment. For the H1 2019 report, we created and collected responses to a total of 91 valid questionnaires, encompassing 22 provinces and municipalities.
Based on the three stages of inbound tourism (i.e. before, during and after the trip), the report will comprehensively analyze the behaviors of inbound tourists, the future trends of this sector and the development potential of inbound tourism.
