"The experiment involves the use of acid." -> "the use of acid" is an inseparable/integral part of the action of the experiment. To include merely means that the object is contained within the greater group or whole.

29 Αυγ 2010 · If you take a photo of a scene, it may include or take in a particular object (a tank, say). In other words, the tank is part of the photo or is included in the photo. I would not use involve with a photo.
