"The experiment involves the use of acid." -> "the use of acid" is an inseparable/integral part of the action of the experiment. To include merely means that the object is contained within the greater group or whole.
'Involve' and 'include' both refer to someone or something that is incorporated in something else. However, while 'involve' means to make or allow something to take part in something, 'include' means to make or allow something to be part of something.

25 Μαΐ 2014 · According to my friend, we use “include” when we say something is a part of something. On the other hand, we use “involve” when we refer to something that is a part of an event, activity or situation.
To involve someone into something means that you show him how it's done and give him the possibility to participate. Inclusion is one step more. You would let him join your group (or w/e you're doing) and help him learn the thing, see him progress and be something like a teacher or a partner.
