1 Απρ 2015 · To download and install Apache OpenOffice 4.x, follow this checklist: Review the System Requirements for Apache OpenOffice use. Download and install Java JRE if you need the features that are Java dependent. Download Apache OpenOffice 4.x.x. Login as administrator (if required).
26 Αυγ 2019 · On the "Java Downloads..." page, click the "All Java Downloads" link about half way down the page to open the "Java Downloads for All Operating Systems" page. Find the "Windows" section and click the "Windows offline" link to download the 32-bit installer for Windows.
18 Ιαν 2022 · I've encountered this problem where I Cannot install JRE in OpenOffice 4.1.11 on Windows 10. Have installed both 32-bit and 64-bit JRE but both give message 'The folder you selected does not contain a Java runtime environment'.
You have to install a 32 bit Java and then go to the menu Tools -> Options, expand the OpenOffice list on the left, select Java, check the Use a Java Runtime Environment box and select the particular JRE from the list that will populate after several seconds.
