31 Ιουλ 2015 · Neon is one of the noble gases and one of only six elements that’s inert. Odorless, colorless, and almost completely nonreactive, neon was found along with other noble gases argon and krypton. In 1898, chemists Morris Travers and William Ramsay were experimenting with the evaporation of liquified air when they documented the new gases.
8 Απρ 2023 · Neon: 10 Incredible Facts. Neon has the most limited liquid range of any element. The element occurs in liquid form at just 2.5°C. It is the second-lightest noble gas, behind helium. While being very scarce on Earth, Ne is the fourth-most plentiful element in the cosmos. It accounts for 18 parts per million of air.
The reading list I compiled includes five science fiction stories that both influenced and facilitated the birth of this fresh and hopefully thought-provoking new genre. I hope Neon Sci-Fi can be a stimulating new addition for science fiction readers and authors alike.
